Educational Programs
The most important role of our chapter leadership is to provide relevant and current education in a variety of formats that meet the needs and busy schedules of our membership. The following Program Subcommittees have been created topical areas to fulfill this role:
The Education Program year begins in September and extends through the following April. Half-Day Forums are scheduled on the third Friday of selected months beginning in September. In addition, this year the chapter will begin offering Full-Day Education Programs. There are three Full-Day Programs planned for the 2011-2012 year, offering 7 CPEs at each Program. To assist the subcommittees in planning, we ask that you pre-register Education Programs. Program fees can be paid through HFMA National by credit card or check. Program registration options will be included in the chapter’s weekly email updates and Education Program announcements. For members wishing to save even more, a Season Pass is available for individuals and organizations. Please contact Andrea Kovall or Renee George for more information on Education Program pre-registration or purchasing a Season Pass.
