Tony Helton has worked at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital for 20 years. During his
tenure at Children’s, he has held several positions within the Revenue Cycle. He
is currently the Executive Director of Hospital Billing Operations.
Mr. Helton received his Bachelor’s degree from Northern Kentucky University in Management
and Organizational Studies and has completed the Executive Leadership Program at
the University of Notre Dame. He served as the Chair of the Patient Account Managers
Committee for the Greater Cincinnati Health Council (2007 – 2008) and has served
on the Strategic Planning Committee for the Ohio Children’s Hospital Association
and the ABC Committee of the OHA. He has been a member of HFMA since 1995.

Shawn Kent is the Divisional Director of Revenue Cycle; Patient Financial Services at Mercy Health Partners (MHP) in Cincinnati. His current scope of responsibilities covers the 6 hospitals in Cincinnati, and the 2 hospitals in Springfield, Ohio. Mercy Health Partners is part of Catholic Healthcare Partners (CHP), and CHP is one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in the United States and the largest in Ohio.
Mr. Kent joined Mercy's Revenue Cycle Management Team in 2008, and was tasked with integrating revenue enhancement and protection strategies, process improvement, and innovation into their Revenue Cycle Operations (RCO). During his career, Mr. Kent has assumed various roles within Revenue Cycle Operations, and during this time led multiple projects which were focused on optimizing revenue through RCO design/redesign.
Mr. Kent received both his Bachelors Degree, and Masters of Health Services Administration (MHSA) from Xavier University in Cincinnati. He has been a member of HFMA since 1998, and through his ongoing commitment to the Chapter (and passing certification exams) he has achieved the designation of Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA).
Dave McCullough - Vice President

Mr. McCullough graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree
in Marketing: Sales and Promotions. His sales/marketing career began in the manufacturing
sector where he was National Sales Manager for 10 years. In 2004 he transitioned
in to the Accounts Receivable Management field. This transition provided him an
entry way into the healthcare sector. He currently is Regional Sales Director for
Professional Medical Services where he utilizes his ability to connect with people
and his true concern for others to enhance all his endeavors. His business activity
in healthcare has encouraged his professional and personal involvement in several
healthcare associations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for both
the Indiana Pressler and Southwestern Ohio Chapters. Other HFMA involvement includes
sponsorship committee chair for both Indiana and SW Ohio and a website committee
member for the McMahon-Illini HFMA Chapter. He is also involved with MGMA and AAHAM.
David enjoys golfing, hunting, and spending time with his wife and three children.

Michele Tynes Napier is the Divisional Vice President of Revenue Cycle for Mercy
Health Partners. She oversees and leads all of the revenue cycle functions for the
Central Division. A graduate of Florida International University (BBA) and University
of Miami (MBA), Michele has worked in the health care industry for over 20 years
including hospital and health plan operations. Before joining MHP, Michele worked
as the Corporate Vice President – Revenue for the Health Alliance where she oversaw
Payor Relations and Revenue Cycle. Prior to that, she was the Senior Vice President
of Delivery Systems & Payor Relations for St Vincent Catholic Medical Centers in
New York. In that capacity, she served as President of and led a successful turnaround
of US Family Health Plan, a government HMO serving members from Connecticut to Pennsylvania.
She has experience in multiple markets in the southeast and northeast regions of
the U.S. and Puerto Rico where she oversaw regional networks for Humana and Independence
Blue Cross. Her first experience in health care finance and management was physician
practice management. Specifically, Michele worked for a practice management organization
and was responsible for overseeing the operations, leading the contracting relationships
with payors, vendors, and staff, business/real estate development, strategic planning
and financial oversight.
