General Information about HFMA's
Regional Executives(RE)
There are eleven elected RE’s each serving and representing one of HFMA’s eleven regions. Regional Executives are elected by chapter
presidents-elect at the Leadership Training Conference. Region 6 is composed of Ohio and Michigan. The Southwestern Ohio chapter nominates
a candidate once every eight years. The RE for Region 6 in 2007-2008 is:

The role of the RE involves policy making and maintaining compliance authority over the Davis Chapter Managment System (DCMS),
monitoring performance of chapters within the region, assisting chapter leaders in serving members, convening and organizing meetings
of the regional leadership, fostering effective communications between HFMA National and the chapters, and expressing the needs and
interests of the region's chapter leaders on the Regional Executive Council to the National Board and staff.
