Karen is the Vice President Finance & CFO for CMH Regional Health System / Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Ohio.
Karen joined CMH in March of 2004 as the Financial Services Manager / Controller. Prior to that time she worked at Mercy
Health Partners as a Site Finance Director based at Mercy Hospital Clermont. She is a Certified Healthcare Financial
Professional who recently applied for FHFMA. She is also a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BSB / Accounting &
Finance and an MBA / Finance from Wright State University. Karen has over fifteen years of experience in health care with
various providers including Acute Care, Skilled Nursing and Physician Practice / Clinic. She has been a member of HFMA
since 1996. |

Gayla is Corporate Vice President, Financial Services and Payor Relations
for the Health Alliance. She is reponsible for accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, reimbursement, Sarbanes-Oxley
compliance and payor relations/managed care contracting for all Health Alliance hospitals, Alliance Primary Care physicians
and affiliated joint ventures.
Gayla is a native of Ashland, KY and has worked in healthcare finance and operations since graduating from Eastern Kentucky
University in 1982 with a degree in Accounting. Her work has covered both small and metropolitan-size markets, including
Philadephia, PA. Over the course of her career she has worked for both providers and payers including UnitedHealthcare
and Humana. She lives in Northern Kentucky with her two teenage sons.

Michele Tynes Napier is the Vice President of Payor Relations for The Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati, Inc.
She oversees and leads all of the managed care relationships and contracting for the hospitals and physician groups within
the Health Alliance. A graduate of Florida International University (BBA) and University of Miami (MBA), Michele has
worked in the health care industry for over 20 years including hospital and health plan operations. Before coming to Ohio,
she was the Senior Vice President of Delivery Systems & Payor Relations for St Vincent Catholic Medical Centers in New York.
In that capacity, she served as President of and led a successful turnaround of US Family Health Plan, a government HMO
serving members from Connecticut to Pennsylvania. She has experience in multiple markets in the southeast and northeast
regions of the U.S. and Puerto Rico where she oversaw regional networks for Humana and Independence Blue Cross. Her first
experience in health care finance and management was physician practice management. Specifically, Michele worked for a
practice management organization and was responsible for overseeing the operations, leading the contracting relationships
with payors, vendors, and staff, business/real estate development, strategic planning and financial oversight.
